Review work forecasts and determine daily productivity requirements to meet overall building objectives. Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor and maintain an efficient, balanced shift while meeting all goals. Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates. Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and lean tools. Supervisory Responsibilities

You and your team of warehouse associates are responsible for getting Amazon customers their orders, ensuring your associates are properly trained and supported so they can focus on their jobs. In addition, a key part of your role is to lead change at high speed, driving innovation that powers Amazon’s global success. Additional Job Elements

Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head. Walking frequently throughout the FC and around the area; the facility spans over a quarter mile in length. Continual standing and / or walking. Work in construction / distribution environments that may be noisy, unlit, and not air‑conditioned. Access all areas of the building (ascending and descending ladders, stairs, gangways) safely and without limitation. Skills Required

Direct management experience for employees and their performance. Experience with performance metrics and process improvement. Flexibility to work weekends and / or overnight shifts regularly. Basic Qualifications

2+ years of employee and performance management experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge / FTE) experience. Work a flexible schedule / shift / work area, including weekends, nights, and / or holidays. Preferred Qualifications
