Job Title

Senior Manager of Financial Control, Finance (formerly Financial Control Manager)

Reports to

Vice President – Finance

Purpose

To oversee all financial accounting and project-related accounting by leading the Finance team, ensuring funds availability, necessary payments, and preparing reports on expenditures, trends, and project interests.

Strategic Importance

  • Provide up-to-date details on current performance and profitability to support strategic decision-making by the Vice President – Finance.
  • Advise on treasury management and strategic financial management, contributing to the overall business strategy.
  • Ensure that financial transactions are managed and performed according to approved standards, maintaining the company’s good reputation in the industry.

  • Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for financial accounting mainly related to sales, production, and other company expenditures and billing.
  • Record and maintain accounts in line with company policies covering all expenditures, capital expenses, and operating costs.
  • Report to the Vice President – Finance on the financial status, budgets, and forecasts as required, including weekly overviews and quarterly budget reports with profit and loss analysis, allocations, and the annual balance sheet.
  • Recommend corrective budget actions as needed based on accounts and company financial requirements.
  • Act as an authorized signatory alongside the Vice President – Finance.
  • Conduct quarterly cost control (industrial) analysis and review overall performance, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Approve supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Receive product sales notices and ensure invoicing is completed.
  • Provide monthly reconciliation of receivables and invoices with the Sales team regarding received or outstanding payments.
  • Ensure cash availability to meet current obligations by notifying the Treasury & Risk Manager of funding needs.
  • Consolidate all financial performance and transactions across regions (KSA and UAE).
  • Lead the Finance team with a strong focus on accurate quarterly account evaluations and timely approvals, ensuring proper oversight at all levels.
  • Manage annual leave, sick leave, capacity, and compliance issues within the Finance team according to company policy.
  • Expected Goals & Standards

  • Provide financial reports as per approved frequencies and timelines.
  • Complete payments to suppliers as per approved schedules.
  • Monitor receivables from clients according to approved schedules.
  • Ensure accurate year-end budget balances.
  • Perform, write, and sign 100% of required evaluations for all team members within key periods.
  • Key Authorities & Dimensions

  • Authorized signatory for the company.
  • Financial control of business budgets in KSA and consolidation for the unified company in KSA and UAE.
  • Advise Vice Presidents for Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Finance on the company’s financial health.
  • Responsible for a team of 15 employees.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in financial control, auditing, and analysis at a senior corporate level with clients in companies with revenues not less than SAR 500 million.
  • Business management qualifications are required if industry experience is less than 10 years.
