Description

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods or passengers safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This is a great opportunity for freshers or entry-level candidates looking to start their career in driving.

Responsibilities

Safely operate and drive the vehicle assigned to you for transportation of goods or passengers.
Follow all traffic regulations and maintain a clean driving record.
Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle and report any mechanical issues to management.
Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of goods or passengers as scheduled.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and rest periods as per regulations.
Assist in loading and unloading goods from the vehicle when required.
Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and passengers.

Skills and Qualifications

Valid Indian driving license (Light Motor Vehicle and Heavy Motor Vehicle if required).

Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations in India.

Ability to navigate using GPS and traditional maps.

Good physical fitness and stamina to handle loading and unloading tasks.

Excellent communication skills in English and local languages.

Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.

Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
